Play begins the week of January 17th and the season runs for 8 weeks ending the week of March 6th with the finals and end of season party. All players receive a team t-shirt, specials on food and beer, exclusive event opportunities, prizes, and a free party at the end of the season. We feature, on the first Friday of every month, a firkin tapping party with Old Dominion! Unlike most draft beers, firkin beers are not “injected with carbon dioxide, filtered … Pasteurized, stored in pressurized kegs and served through gas-powered taps.” Instead, a firkin beer is unpasteurized, unfiltered, and “naturally carbonated, or conditioned, in its cask by yeast transforming sugar into alcohol with a side of fizzy carbon dioxide trapped in the cask.” A real unique treat!
